English 1 Honors (R. Davis)

English 1 Honors is utilizing Competency - Based Grading at WCMS for the 18-19 school year. Students will be assessed on their mastery of the competencies for each grading period using a 1-5 proficiency scale. At the end of each quarter their proficiency average on the competencies will be converted to a traditional grading percentage. The earned percentage will be entered into PowerSchool as the official grade. Students will chart their progress of the competencies on an individual student tracker. Only the quarter and semester average will be available in PowerSchool.
