For the following week’s quiz, students will need to be able to:

• Plot dates correctly on a timeline
• Label a timeline correctly with BC/BCE and AD/CE
• Know the definitions of Circa (c. or ca), decade, & century
• Label a world map correctly with the following: 7 continents, 4 oceans, Arctic Circle, Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn, Equator, Antarctic Circle, Prime Meridian, Compass Rose

Wednesday-

 Latitude and Longitude PowerPoint and worksheet

Thursday-

Review continents, oceans, & major lines of latitude and longitude

Tear-a-Continent activity (CW grade)  

HW- Finish Tear-a-Continent if you didn’t finish in class

Friday-

Review longitude & latitude with worksheet

Historical Context worksheet to introduce timelines

HW- Study for quiz using study guide, textbook page RA4 & RA5, HT6, HT9
