Weekly Agenda: March 9th-13th

Monday: Secrets of the Nervous System. Students will create a drawing showing how an impulse travels through the nervous system for your body to react to stimuli from the environment. They will then take their drawing and create a ChatterPix where they will explain what is happening in the nervous system. 
 
Tuesday-Friday: Smart Signals. Students will build their own neuron example and create a Stop Motion Video showing how a nerve impulse travels through one neuron to another.

Weekly Agenda: March 2nd-6th

Monday: Part 2 of the Bacteria Lab
 

Tuesday- Friday: 1.5 Diagnostic Detectives- Students will be given a patient file. They are to come up with interview questions to gain more information to help in their diagnosis and treatment of their patient. 

Weekly Agenda: February 24th-28th

Monday: Lab Safety Review- Students will create memes for lab safety rules.
 
Tuesday: "Scrambled Eyes" lab safety activity
 
Wednesday: Lab Safety Digital Breakout
 

Thursday:  Pre-Lab 1.3- Students will learn Aseptic Technique to prepare for our bacteria lab.

Tuesday- Thursday: Disease Dictionary Jeopardy! Students will work with a partner and create a Jeopardy game to review the 15 diseases we will be studying.
 
Friday: Students will play each others Jeopardy games

Weekly Agenda: January 13th-17th

Monday: Introduction to Vital Signs lab. Students will take on the role of an ER doctor where they will use patients vital signs and symptoms to diagnose 6 patients.
 
Tuesday: Vital Signs notes
 
Wednesday-Thursday: Vital Signs Lab. Students will work with a partner to practice taking blood pressure, tempature, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
 
Friday: Active Vital Signs lab- Students will see how different exercises affect their pulse rate and respiratory rate.

Weekly Agenda: January 7th-10th

Monday: No school
 
Tuesday- Thursday: Students will complete their dragster builds and programming for Friday's Dragster race.

Weekly Agenda: December 16th-20th

Monday: Students will complete Testbed programming tasks #1-3.
 
Tuesday-Wednesday: Students will work with their group to build and program a working dragster car to compete in the West Winter Drag Race on Thursday!
 
Thursday: West Winter Drag Race!
 
Friday: Automation and Robotics Escape Room game!

Weekly Agenda: November 18th-22nd

Monday- Complete Shark Tank Presentations. Pull Toy Parade!
 
Tuesday- Digital Citizenship. Students will complete the "My Media" and "A Creator's Responsibility" lessons.
 
Wednesday- Digital Citizenship. Students will complete the "Safe Online talk" and "Which me Should I be" lessons.
 
Thursday- Introduction to programming. During this lesson students will learn about the different types of robot behaviors and how to identify them when writing a program. Students will take complex behaviors and write basic behaviors to help their peers color a Thanksgiving Turkey a certain way.
 
Friday- Continue Robot Behavior introduction. Students will go station to station using the basic behavior directions written by their peers in yesterday's lesson to color their turkeys to match the Quirky Turkey colored by the teacher.

Weekly Agenda: November 11th-15th

Monday-Tuesday: Students will complete their Pull Toy Commercial and Shark Tank Sales Pitch
 
Wednesday-Friday: Step 6 of the Engineering Design Process- Present the Solution: Students will present their Pull Toy's in a Shark Tank style presentation.
