Welcome to WCMS 2022-2023!

Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at WCMS. I am so excited to work with you and your student this year.  I will be teaching grades 6, 7 and 8 Resource Reading and Resource Math. 

I earned my B. A. in Special Education and my M. S. in School Administration at the University of Memphis.  I began in teaching in 1995 at Houston High School and have also taught elementary Resource Alt., CVA, BASE, Resource S. and Early Childhood Intervention. For the past 10 years I have taught in various settings at Tara Oaks Elementary School.

My husband of 23 years is also an educator. We have 3 children, all who attend/attended Collierville Schools. Our oldest son is 20 years old, and we have a CHS senior and a CHS sophomore. Both of my sons are Eagle Scouts and my daughter is the CHS FFA President. When not spending time with my family I am entertaining our pets: 2 horses, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits!
