January 13 - January 17, 2020

This week, students will continue participating and challenged, in general fitness through participation in our warm-ups, stretching and strength exercises - exercising to music. In addition, cardiovascular fitness will begin to gradually increase over the several weeks.
 
Plus, students will begin Basketball. Students will be introduced to basic skills: Ball handling skills, Triple-Threat Position, Jump Stop, Dribbling, Passing and Shooting; plus, introduction of basic rules and strategies.
 
PLUS, students will continue receiving instruction, POLAR HRM, in benefits of incorporating heart rate monitors, in the daily challenge of trying to become and maintain students fitness.
