Why should my child participate in orchestra in middle school?

 

 

The instruments of the orchestra: violin, viola, cello and bass.

Imagine your favorite football team, and then think how good they would be if everyone was the quarterback. Or imagine your favorite baseball team, but everyone was the pitcher. It wouldn't work!

 

Just like all team sports, the orchestra needs balance. We need students to cover all of the instruments. Students have their first choice of instrument in the orchestra. Undecided students will get recommendations to help fill our orchestra section.
