Play Along :) Recreate an image from art history with what you have around your house.

You know they say that boredom is the mother of creation so as long as you're home not doing anything why not invest in recreating some art history lots of museums around the country are asking people to recreate art history with whatever you find around your house figure out some famous painting and see what you could make from them some of them could be silly like this one some of them will take some thought some of them could be directly related to quarantine whatever I do have fun with it my son and I started looking at and paintings by the German expressionist Max Beckmann and we turned all over into here's the original portrait we looked at and then we took some pictures like this and then picking up to mash them together so we can see a side-by-side I picked a Max Beckmann as well this one and because there was a cat in it I got to enlist my cat, Nick Drake, he was out of fan and we had to do it really quickly but you can see that is not exactly just inspired by and modernized and using what we have at home I asked some of amazing West Collierville Middle School teachers to help me out and here's Miss Curry's example Miss Gunther did wants to this is a Gustav Klimt she copies Miss Braxton doing her version Miss Quita looking amazing this is my friend Geraldine she lives in Los Angeles and this is her version of a Goya my friend's daughter modernized this girl with a pearl ring and turned it into girl with the white airpod while a lot of them use actual portraits and meaning that you have to put yourself in it and you could be a silly as you want to do with these Miss Hawes decided to just use design and recreated a Mondrian so you could find abstract work or landscape work you don't have to put yourself in it or you could put yourself in an odd way
