A TVAAS Level 5 distinction means that the school has achieved the highest level of student academic growth according to the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System. This means students are making significantly more progress than expected compared to similar students across the state. TVAAS assesses how much students’ progress academically over time, not just their current achievement level.
