Dr. Bryan Hayes named new Assistant Principal at WCMS

WCMS Families - 

I am delighted to welcome Dr. Bryan Hayes to our administrative team at West Collierville Middle School! His enthusiastic, well-rounded, student-centered leadership style will be of great benefit to our school community as he continues to make positive impacts at WCMS. I look forward to seeing him flourish in his new role, and I am confident that our students, parents, and faculty will be equally as excited to welcome Dr. Hayes as our new assistant principal. Dr. Hayes has been a part of the Collierville Schools community for the past three years, two of which included in an administrative internship program at WCMS.

Dr. Hayes came to Collierville Schools in 2021 after an extensive career in education that has spanned almost three decades. Beginning his career in 1998 at Haywood Country, Dr. Hayes subsequently spent 12 years (2002-2014) with Arlington Community Schools as a teacher and middle school athletic director. During that time, Dr. Hayes served in the Army on active duty and was an infantry officer for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also served as a professor for Visible Music College in Memphis from 2015 to 2021. 
 
Dr. Hayes was granted his Doctorate degree in Education from Liberty University in 2024. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Memphis, and a Master’s of Music from Berklee College of Music. He and his wife, Angela, have a daughter, Annie, who is a rising second grader at Collierville Elementary School. 
 
I hope that our WCMS families are having a great summer, and we look forward to having an awesome 2024-25 school year!
